There is a common denominator in all successful relationships -actually there are several (hard work, devotion, etc)-but the one I am thinking of is, compromise. Any relationship, in order to succeed, must have a 'middle ground.' That means all partners must learn to be truly humble and to give in. Does this mean sacrificing your independence? Sometimes it does, but it is generally temporary! Not getting your way? Try giving up something and watch that change for the better! Learning to compromise is worth it; the final result is true harmony with your partner.
