People often think that their lives change for the better once they have made an external change. For example, they think they will be happier once they get the new car, new job or new boyfriend/husband. If you stop and think about it, almost any external change (for the better) was first made internally. Maybe you decided to lose weight or quit smoking and then found that other areas of your life improved (better breathing, more cash and fitting into that size 6 dress for example). Then and only then, after you changed internally did your surroundings (or external life) start to transform for the better. Remember, we must look at the 'person in the mirror' first, then take action, if we want our lives to change for the better.
