My dad was a very interesting man. He also had many unusual habits. For example, the little notes he'd leave to help himself remember something. He had a note near his phone that simply said, "ask." I knew what that meant to him. He was a strong believer in speaking up (he had strong opinions and was not afraid to voice them). He believed that if you had an issue or needed help, you just asked and you will receive the help you needed. This way of thinking served him very well throughout his 83 years of life. The help he needed would always be there, sometimes it was just a matter of finding it. But this would only happen if he took his own advice and "just asked." How about you, do you ask for help when you need it?
