My washer recently broke down. The motor was spinning but not the agitator. My first thought was that I only paid $50 for it so I'd just buy another used one. Then I realized that I may be able to fix it. I looked it up on Youtube, went down to my basement and removed the agitator in question. After inspecting it, I could see nothing obviously wrong, I came to the realization that any more time and effort to repair it wasn't worth it . BTW, another washer for $50 on Craigslst helped me with this decision. The best solutions are the simplest ones.
