Many people do not take the time to treat themselves. They merely run from one "productive" event to the next without thinking much about their own welfare. Taking time to 'treat' yourself is vital for many reasons. When you rest your body and your brain it actually serves to recharge you so that you function better (like skipping days between weightlifting workouts). Treating yourself feels great, both emotionally and physically. Although to some it may appear selfish, taking time to 'regroup' makes you a better person and that benefits everyone!
