I am reading an excellent book called "How to think Like Sherlock Holmes." Holmes was the master at solving puzzles. One of the best ways he had of doing this was by training himself to get distracted and to step away from the problem-sometimes he did this by by physically leaving, others just mentally. This allowed him looking at it from a different perspective, get a fresh view and approach the solution in a totally new light. Hypnosis and meditation do exactly the same thing and you don't even have to leave the room. People will say, "I don't know how to do that!" Maybe, but like anything else, Hypnosis and meditation can be practiced and then mastered. Want to solve a problem? Get distracted, physically or by meditation or hypnosis and see the issue from a whole different point of view!
