Patience Makes it Taste Better

I had some leftover spaghetti and meatballs recently. I noticed that it tasted better than when I had first had it two days ago. This is not true with all food but with Italian it always seems to taste better the next day. Sort of like in life, when we wait for something, we appreciate it more later on. And Isn’t that something that we could all use? Patience is defined as the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset. In our fast paced culture where everything is  “go, go, go” much of the time it can be easy to lose sight of patience and what it means. But if you are able to slow yourself down, even if only for a few minutes a day, then what a reward awaits you.
