Ever notice that there is never a time when all parts of your life are perfect? For example, you may have a great job but not love your roommates. Or you may be in great shape but still haven’t met a mister or miss “right” yet. This is no accident. You (and everyone else) are designed to be imperfect so that you will continue to seek what it is that you need. You are imperfect so you will appreciate all the good things you do have. If you look at it this way, being imperfect is perfect. It can really give you perspective on your life. What if you had everything you needed at all times? Would you then appreciate what you had? Would you then strive for more in your life? Of course, you would not. But because you (and I) are imperfect, the pattern of your life is perfectly set up for success.
