Grief

A Better Life Hypnosis
C
After our cat died, we were thinking of getting a new one. We even looked at one cat that needed a home. It did not take me long to realize that it was way too soon to even be thinking about it. After all our cat only passed away this past Tuesday. I realized that, despite spite all the difficulty of going through the process of grieving, it is still really important to grieve. I am not ruling out the idea of another cat, but I know that this is not the right time. I miss my cat terribly and have cried quite a bit this past week. I don’t think I have cried this much since my mother died in 1988. But of course this is Natural and it is important to allow Time to grieve. If the process is shortened, then it will not be complete. When their pets die. A lot of people get a new cat or dog immediately. I truly believe this is a mistake because then they cannot grieve properly. As hard as this is, I am glad I am waiting and allowing myself the time to do this. I also feel that, instead of just replacing him, I want to honor the memory of my wonderful cat Oliver.
