Get Started with Hypnosis, Reiki, or Life Coaching
So, how does this all work? It all starts with your phone call! We will discuss your goals and how A Better Life Hypnosis and Life Coaching can help you to achieve those goals. We will talk about how you can form a visualization, set up an action plan, and get you started practicing self-hypnosis on your own. Then we will set up an appointment to get you started.
Before your Hypnosis and Reiki session, you will complete a very short informational interview to help us gear the session directly toward you and your needs. At the appointment, we will discuss in more detail what you wish to accomplish, set up the action plan (see below) and go over exactly what hypnosis is (and is NOT) and what will happen during the session.
Then you will experience Hypnosis and Reiki. You will notice an immediate sense of relaxation and focus…the beginnings of A Better Life Hypnosis and Life Coaching!
How the Subconscious Mind Works
The subconscious mind is like a big memory bank (computer) that stores your beliefs, memories, and life experiences. This information that is stored in your subconscious mind always affects your behavior and actions in different situations.
Here is another example that will help you understand how the subconscious mind works. If you lack self-confidence because of certain beliefs that you have about yourself (that are stored in your subconscious mind) then you might start to feel anxious around people.
In this case, you felt anxious because your subconscious mind had false information that made you believe that you were in danger while in fact, you were not. (perception is reality-we only need to fool your mind into believing something!)
One of the very interesting facts about the way the subconscious mind works is that it won’t only affect your behavior but it will also affect your perception of events. If in the previous case you saw two people smiling while looking at you then you might believe that they were making fun of you.
Your subconscious mind follows a rule called “you get what you focus on”. Because you had a false belief about yourself you found a proof for it even though it wasn’t real.
